- FYI, the the other big party that the DPJ is competing with is the LDP (Liberal Democratic Party). The article refers to the DPJ as the "Democrats," which is misleading to U.S. readers to because the LDP is the party that tends to be more to the left, especially fiscally.

- The cost problem is b/c of the delivery system & private insurance co, abuses. We need a public option and affordable healthy food.

- Marijuana shouldn't be illegal in the first place; it should instead be regulated in a responsible way.
